Our guide Aarre was awesome! Great mix of history and relevant information. Would definitely recommend.

Aarre, was a wonderful for guide; super infirmative and really personable and entertaining, with lots of historical facts. Besides the history of the red light district and Chinatown and all the areas around; he was able to give insight into buildings, history, politics and was willing to answer any questions we threw at him. You could tell he knew the area very well (many people in the area seemed to know him as well judging from all the hellos) and he really loved Amsterdam. I've already recommended him to a friend who's staying a few more days, I feel confirms wandering around soli afterwards, and even took one of food recommendations for dinner. A really great experience!

Informative and gives you a better understanding of Amsterdams culture and the red light district and how it came about.

Pilar was a a wealth of historical knowledge and made it easy to understand how the red light district came about. I would recommend booking her for the tour.

I was hesitant about taking this tour, since I had been to Amsterdam before and walked on my own through the Red Light district. However, the excellent guide, Ari (Aree?) made all the difference in the world! He was so knowledgeable, personable and charming. The tour covered so many historical points, not just the prostitution aspect, although Ari enlightened us in a discreet, amusing way about this as well. Have to say this was the best tour I’ve ever taken anywhere and it was all due to your terrific guide, Ari! Highly recommend!

A very informative trip with a great guide. We had to cut the excursion short by 1/2 hour in order to get back to the ship. The guide was very accommodating to pack everything into the time we had. I am sorry I did not make a note regarding the guide's name.
