Amazing!

The guide was very knowledgeable about the city and gave us a bunch of fun facts along the way. The windmills and surrounding area was beautiful. I enjoyed The Hague museum option afterwards. Girl with a pearl earring painted was breath taking. I would 100% recommend this tour

Amazing!

'Jan" is back after his 3 mo recovery and in full lively form! I had one of the best tours ever with Viator because of Jan (John). He was a wonderful driver and guide during the 9 hours and shared tons of interesting information about the Netherlands. I was sad when the day was over. I'm glad I got to go to Kinderdijk, is a few hours outside of Amsterdam. Kinderdijk is historically 'the' windmill area and I loved seeing inside a windmill that housed a large family 100 years ago. How 13 kids could have lived in it was beyond me, but the picture of the family was on the windmill wall and the family was quite self sufficient. Onward, we drove to the Hague and got to see Embassies and beautiful homes. Another highlight was time at the Mauritshuis Museum and at last I saw the real painting of 'Girl With the Pearl Earring'.

It was a wonderful tour ( I've give this tour more stars if I could) because it was a knock out with Jan back at the helm as driver and guide with his lively sense of warm humor and fun. Thank You!

Amazing!

Jan was excellent at giving historical context and providing interesting facts about Holland and things we were driving past. He was a knowledgeable guide and a good driver too. Enjoyed not having to navigate times, entrance tickets or the roads. My husband and I could relax and take in the beautiful buildings and surroundings

Amazing!

The windmills are amazing, and so was the Girl With the Pearl Earring! We were a bit confused about the exact meeting spot—maybe add a photo to the website to make it a little easier to find the right place. We were pleased that the tour wasn’t cancelled because there were just two of us. Jan, the driver, gave us great information all along the way.

Amazing!

It was a beautiful and interesting ride from Amsterdam as the guide explained points of interest along the way. The windmills at Kinderdijk were also very interesting and the area there was beautiful. Be sure to watch the film first and if possible download the app prior to going. It will make the experience even better. You will need to link your actual ticket that you will receive to the app when you arrive there but have the app ready. It will give you commentary as you walk along.

We then went to The Hague. That also was interesting as we saw the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court, many foreign embassies, and the Peace Palace.

Then we had lunch on our own at a lovely Italian restaurant on the courtyard opposite the Mauritshuis. After lunch we toured the Mauritshuis museum and enjoyed seeing work by Rembrandt, Vermeer, Frans Hals, Leyster, and many others. It was a great trip. We returned back to the starting point around 5 pm.
