What a gem! Hidden right at the back of the World of Wine is this experience that I wasn't even expecting to be so informative. I already knew a fair bit about wine making etc but still elarned so much owing to it being so interactive, and encompassing wine growing all over the world rather than just locally. We meandered around at a leisurely pace, reading every sign, and still wanted more at the end. Bravo

You really feell surrounded and imersible during the whole visit.
And the wine tasting in the end is the final touch of this ibcredible tour.
I also add the expertise of Marcel during the wine tasting, very confident and welcomed.

The museum was a great experience and left me with a better knowledge of wine making and how to properly taste wine. The leader of the wine tasting Tatiana, was wonderful and super knowledgeable. I recommend anyone to make a stop at WOW.

This is a wonderful place to spend a day.
The museums are interactive, beautifully designed and the service is wonderful.
The attention to detail in the wine museum is second to none.
The restaurants and bars are excellent and for the 39 euro entrance to all the museums, it is incredibly good value.
Do not miss the pink experience. A trip through rose wine that is really fun.

During our stay in Porto, we wondered over to Gaia, took the gondola down and ended up in WOW, it did not disappoint! We purchased the daily pass and made the most use costing 5 museums over the afternoon. We saw Planet Cork, Wine Experience, the Chocolate Story, Pink Palace and the history of Porto! The staff throughout the whole place were very pleasant, answered all our questions. These are all self guided tours. Planet cork was amazing, didn't realize how much you could do with this. The wine experience tour was just as good so much info on wine. With a tasting at the end by Joao who was also great! The Chocolate Story was next and we had a great time enjoying chocolate from all the different stations and learning of its long history! again, the staff was awesome! The pink palace was really fun and definitely a instragram worthy opportunity at every turn! And finally the history of Porto! If you're looking for a great experience for wine, history and fun visit WOW!!
