Overnight, your ship sails from Switzerland along the Rhine into France's Alsace region, docking in Strasbourg. Spend the morning exploring the city's romantic old town independently or join an organized tour. In the afternoon, we recommend a detour to the countryside, particularly along the famous wine route, where charming wine-growing villages await. Late at night, your ship sets sail for Germany.

Arrive in Speyer before breakfast, a city that played a pivotal role in the Holy Roman Empire during the Middle Ages. Explore this historic destination, including its imperial cathedral and the famous Speyer Pretzel. After lunch, your cruise continues to Mannheim, where you can take an excursion to the nearby city of Heidelberg, known for its beautiful Baroque old town. Late at night, your vessel sails to Rüdesheim, a renowned wine-making town.

Two delightful stops await you today. In the morning, arrive in Rüdesheim, a town famous for its wine-making. Explore the town on a guided tour, including a visit to the Mechanical Music Cabinet Museum. You may also choose to visit a local vineyard for a wine tasting. After lunch, your ship cruises the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, offering a spectacular view of the Lorelei Rock. Arrive in Koblenz, one of Germany's oldest towns, where you can end the day with a stroll through the pedestrian area and a cable car ride to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress.

Your vessel departs from Koblenz early in the morning and sails along the Moselle River to the romantic town of Cochem. The town's landscape is dominated by the magnificent Reichsburg castle. The town itself, with its narrow streets and half-timbered houses, is an ideal setting to taste the region's wines. After dinner on board, your journey continues to Cologne.

In the afternoon, join the excursion through the Waterland to the picturesque villages of Volendam and Edam, and enjoy a tasting of delicious Dutch cheese. Alternatively, venture out to the medieval town of Haarlem with its gothic Cathedral. In the evening, the Captain invites you to a festive Gala Dinner, followed by a rousing Shanty Choir performance. The vessel remains in Amsterdam overnight.
