During the trip stay in comfortable 3 star hotels, all rooms with ensuite facilities. Please note that a twin room is not always associated with having two beds. Quite often a twin bed has one or two mattresses on the same bed frame but with two separate duvets. Sometimes there might be two beds positioned together, but they cannot be separated because of constraints of the room.

You will receive your bike at the first hotel or rental bike station (advised in your individual travel program). This will either be waiting for you on arrival or delivered by 9am on day 2. You will be provided with either a City Bike standard:
• 24 speed, frames available in three sizes
• Bicycles come with pannier and saddle bar bags and a service kit (pump, spare tube, tools), smartphone holder. In the case of a puncture the assumption is that you can repair. You will be given a puncture repair kit, to fix the issue.
Or if you have booked an E-Bike (Flyer)
• 8 speed, frames available in three sizes - (for minimum height 160cm / 5ft25")
• Bicycles come with pannier bags and a service kit (pump, spare tube, tools)
Please note that e-bikes are heavier than normal bikes and given the higher speed possible, should only be ridden by confident cyclists. Minimum age for e-bike rental is 14 years and a minimum height requirement is 160cm / 5ft25".
Kids bikes and bike trailers are available but must be prebooked.
Body height and type of bicycle should have been advised on booking.
Helmets are available locally on request or can be purchased locally. We recommend bringing one with you from home. Although it is not a legal requirement to wear one we strongly recommend that you do.
Bikes do not have waterbottle holders.
Please use the locks to secure your cycles every time they are left unattended (particularly overnight).
RENTAL BIKE INSURANCE
Insurance against theft and damage for the rental bikes is already included in your tour price.
If you have a problem with your bike, we will arrange a replacement as soon as possible to avoid any further inconvenience. Of course negligence and the failure to properly secure your bike when unattended would obviously void this insurance.
In case of a breakdown of a rented bike, please contact our service hotline. We provide the material to solve minor problems such as a flat tire. In case of larger problems, we organize a transfer, show you the way to the nearest service station or find the suitable public transport connection for you. With us, you are in good hands. Let us know if you have any problems.

Increased safety for e-bike riders
In order to increase visibility in traffic and avoid accidents, e-bike riders are now also required to ride with lights on during the day. Please ensure that the maximum speeds are observed, namely in 20- and 30-km/h zones.
