Prague Hop on Hop off Sightseeing Tram

A quick look online showed us the map and timetable (which you are given a hard copy of when you board). There are two trams - a 1960's tram and a 1920's tram. Staff on both had excellent language skills and spoke English perfectly. They gave us lots of hints and information on what to see and what stops they recommended. We hopped on and off a few times. Busy at weekends so we waited for a week day but if you miss one it's only 20 mins until the next. Great value for a ticket valid for 24 hours!

There are two trams, we went on the oldest tram on Wednesday morning with two fantastic ladies who were entertaining, informative and friendly. The tram was really interesting and a great way to see the city. We did get on the other tram with two much less friendly staff. One lady was fairly aggressive in her pointing, no welcoming smile or conversation.

Excellent helpful advice on the tram as to where to get on and off. Trams were on time according to the written timetable. As with most things, do a little research first. You can buy your ticket beforehand or on the tram with cash or card. Apart from the driver, one person was designated to take payment and two others simply to give information!

Great ride through the city on these vintage trams. Excellent and knowledgeable service on board from the great Bartmoeij (sorry if spelt wrong) - trams will show you the whole city and is hop on and hop off. Trams in excellent condition

Great way of seeing many of the fabulous sights away from the Old Town. We boarded the Tram at stop 7 which was a 15 minute walk from our hotel, the tram was on time and the staff were extremely helpful. We hopped on/off at various stops during the day and every time the tram was exactly on time as per the timetable. Great value for money and highly recommended.

Historic Tram ride was great fun, great way to get around to all the spots when its hot.

Started mid afternoon one day and ticket was good for 24 hrs so we rode again the next day.

Went to the end of the line and had a bar meal and beer in the 30 min turnaround time.

The ride on the historic tram was very pleasant. The staff on board were very nice and helpful. I found all the important attractions around the route in the online guide I received from the staff. I enjoyed the whole ride and seeing the beauty of the city. I definitely recommend this experience.

This was such a fun trip… I absolutely loved it! The driver & conductors were really friendly, good fun and very helpful. There is an audio guide you can scan & download onto your phone which was really informative about the stops on the route… you need to use your own ear buds so take them with you. A great way to see Prague & to get a feel for the City in a fun way. Highly recommend!

The tram ride was a cool experience and a very helpful mode of initial sightseeing of Prague on a cold and rainy day. A ride takes one back a 100 years or or half a century, depending on the tram model. After wandering around Republic square where the tram should stop, I figured it should be at a regular tram stop and it stopped opposite the shopping mall. I got an explanation about the route by an employee who was very friendly and recommended where to change to return to the city center.

Really convenient if you are staying in the Old Town or nearby. On the weekends it runs every 40 minutes during the middle of the day (in Winter) and stops near many ofthe key sites that you want to visit. Easy to access and cheap - but there is no commentary (apparently there is an App that supplies this but we didn't use it). Easy and cheap (around $15USD for 24 hours unlimited use). On a very snowy weekend it was a great way to get around and take in Prague.
