Visit Scandola, the creeks of Piana by boat

We had an amazing day. The landscapes were wonderful. Our capitain Olivier was very funny and made sure we have a good time.

Best day ever, the right combination of adrenaline nature culture laughter and joy. I could see the people that hired other companies looking at as wishing they would have been in our boats ! Thanks so so so much. Coming back soon !

Incredible journey on a speed boat (up to 30 knots/hour), discovering amazing places, impossible to reach otherwise. Breathtaking views, a lot of fun (Greg was amazing captain!), crystal clear waters to swim and to snorkel...so really a trip that I fully enjoyed and that I'll remember for a very long time. Still, we were lucky to have a dead calm sea, I would not recommend to do this type of activity on rough sea, for pregnant women or back problems people. Be sure you choose the right moment to go out on the sea!

We did a full day tour of the Calanques of Piana. Our boat skipper was perfectly pleasant, entertaining, and entertained us by "racing" the other boat on the same tour from JPS Adventure.

The tour of the Scandola was excellent, the nature is gorgeous, the swim in the warm Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by fish was an amazing experience. While in some of the caves and narrow calanques, our skipper played beautiful Corsican songs - adding additional atmosphere to the perfect enjoyment.

There are 12 seats on the boat, and it was full - and the crowd was pleasant, so that was good too. The only issue was finding them in the port - there are no markers, so the only way to find them is by asking around.

We had an excellent time with JPS Adventure. The Scandola reserve is fantastic, and boat is the only way to access the reserve. The tour brings you very close to the shores of Scandola, and into the caves. The full day tour goes by very fast, either through the reserve's wonders, the swim stops and the apero.

We really appreciated our guide Charles! He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the reserve!

the best tour you can have in that region,Maybe too long and 1-2h less would be better. Don’t spend your money and time on biking and other ***ty tours offered in Ajaccio

Late departure. Had to call JPS multiple times to ask why the boat was nowhere in sight

When the boat arrived at the designated pick up area, all other passengers were missing and JPS could not locate them. It turned out that JPS failed to properly informed them on the location of the pick up.

The two JPS staff members on board were rude throughout the entire tour. They rarely stopped to explain the origin and the highlights of the natural beauty surrounding us. They argued with other customers as they -the guests- were promised an "English-speaking tour". No one from JPS, even in the Office, spoke English at all.

The 2 hours break time used to eat is way too long, but contractually owed to the boat crew, so the Customers have to wait. Complaining is futile.

***BE WARE, There are NO ENGLISH SPEAKING TOURS.***

SCANDOLA is truly beautiful.

The boat and crew we ended up with were excellent and the trip around Scandola was breathtaking, with the majestic mountains into the sea, beautiful clear blue- green waters and the skipper was fantastic. However, this was not the trip that was advertised and purchased through TripAdvisor. We did a cruise that cost 65 Euro to book on the dock, no English guide ( no English spoken the whole trip) as was advertised on the product we purchased through TripAdvisor for 186 Euro per person. TripAdvisor sent tickets all in French with the wrong dock embarquement information and time so we missed the boat. We had been booked to depart from a port 20 minutes from the main town port, and initially the local trip booking office at the main port where we presented, told us that was our choice and the trip was voided since we missed the boat. Some very kind, helpful local boat crew staff put us on a jet boat and took us to meet the boat we had missed, which required a mid-sea boat transfer that we managed only because we are fit and agile people. I would highly recommend AGAINST booking this trip with TripAdvisor. If possible, wait until in Ajaccio and book directly with boat trip agents on the port dock, then you will know what you are getting for your money and can choose the right port of departure.

The boat trip around Scandola itself is highly worth doing to see the coastline of Corsica and the natural beauty of the Calanques - stunning!

On our return trip we drove with pods of dolphins which the skipper slowed down and then stopped and spent some time to allow all passengers time to see them.

I will be very cautious using TripAdvisor to ever book a trip in Europe in a non- English speaking country again.

I followed all directions provided by TripAdvisor and on the tickets, contacted the local tour operator via the TripAdvisor app the day before to get more detail about the dock to depart from, however due to time differences between TripAdvisor/ Viator USA office and local Corsica time, language barriers etc… we did not receive the needed help/ clarification until we were there on the dock. The reply to my query was a photo of a dock and GPS coordinates but no further time of arrival for departure clarification. I called the local tour operator in the morning also, however they did not speak enough English and I did not speak enough French to sort out the issue until we were there in person, so we still arrived in the wrong place and at the wrong time to catch the boat.
