We love hop on hop off bus tours and have done many in different cities. This one is great value for money as you see soo many of the great sites around Berlin across the 2 main routes.
Our favourite part of the experience however, was the walking tour with Freddie! These walking tours take place twice daily, once in English and once in German and was one of our favourite parts of the entire day! Our guide Freddie was excellent, very friendly and soo knowledgeable. In the 90 min tour he really helped us piece together all we’d learned throughout our trip in several ‘light bulb moments’ and was more than willing to answer any questions we might have had. I can’t comment on this tour against any other walking tours, but if you don’t have any others planned, this one is an absolute must and is included in the price of a 48hr bus ticket!! Couldn’t recommend a guided walk with Freddie enough!!

Thank you so very much. that is fantastic to hear! Yes, our walking tour is designed especially for this purpose - to provide a little more detail to help piece together the infos our bus commentary provides. Great that you enjoyed! We're looking forward to seeing you again soon in one of our other Big Bus cities!

Really excellent way of seeing the sights of Berlin. We got tickets for the both the blue and red lines as we wanted to see the full city. The tour was disrupted because of a demonstration but the staff worked around it to make our tour pleasant and informative. One in particular Jivee was just brilliant at calming people who were delayed because of the demonstration and actually walked a group of us to the next stop that wasn’t affected. He was really pleasant and patient. In fairness, what started out as an issue made the trip more enjoyable. Thanks Jivee and the Berlin big bus team!

I would recommend the deal with free bag, curry worst & walking tour. Our guide ,Roman, was informative, with a healthy sence of humour, but knowing when it was time to be serious. He made the tour.thanks Roman.
Generally speaking the bus was well worth it, we couldn't have got around such a big city alone x thank you big bus

What a great way to get around and see the city. Being January it was cold so although we like walking it was a good alternative. The roof was on and there is heating so a chance to warm up.
The audio commentary was good and we saw a lot more and got off to look around quite a bit too.

Thank you very much for your glowing review! Yes, in the cold Berlin winters, our warm buses are certainly a haven of comfort!

The 48 hour option is great - get the bus tours, evening tour, walking tour, curry wurst, souvenir bag, and a wonderful walking tour. Our tour guide for the walk was Roman - he was great! Funny, knowledgeable- so glad he was leading the walking tour!!

I chose to do this “hop on/hop off” bus tour because it seemed the best way to see so many interesting places around Berlin without having to walk everywhere in the freezing cold. The audio guide is spot on. It’s controlled by the driver and your earplugs plug into a device in front or at the side of each seat. A lot of people did get off frequently at different stops, I however decided to stay on the bus the whole way around (both red and blue bus routes) so I could firstly get an overview, and it there was anywhere I particularly wanted to see, I could return later using my 24 hour travel card.

When we purchased our ticket, the receipt was truncated and we couldn’t redeem the souvenir bag. Rajat went out of his way to help us and reprinted the receipt so we could get the souvenir bag. That was the best souvenir from our Berlin trip.

Thank you so very much for your super review for our colleague Rajat here at Big Bus Berlin!

Well organised tour, easy to find stops, very frequent buses (unusual in winter) FANTASTIC walking tour with Freddy- a British bloke who has lived through the last 40 years here and knew the history of the wall and its fall personally. Very funny and animated.
Also enjoyed the free souvenir bag and free Currywurst!
Great 2 days thanks
