Amazing!

My husband and I did another tour with Radius this time to Neuschwanstein Castle from Munich. Our tour guide, Anna was such a lovely and helpful person! She knew so much information about Neuschwanstein and German history. She really made the whole tour fun! it was really interesting learning about the Neuschwanstein and all the history behind it.

Highly recommend booking this tour ☺️

Amazing!

I wasn't sure what to expect and I was a bit worried if it would be 'worth' it since it is a full day investment...but would highly recommend this tour. We had Lana and Jeremy as guides -- and they were both excellent (& so funny).

My biggest hesitation about this tour was why would it take 10 hours. So I thought I would break it down for others if they had questions.

- Met at Radius Office at 9:15

- Introductions and started walking to train station around 9:30

- Got on train and headed to Füssen around 10:00.

- Arrived in Fussen around 11;50

- Took a bus then to bottom of castle area / village. this is about at 15 minute bus-ride and a bit crowded

- We then had about 1 hour to wander around/eat before meeting up again at 1:05. Our family brought our lunch -- so we walked around the town - to the lake -- up to the 'father's' castle, etc. We had plenty of time to do that.

- After meeting back with guide at 1;05 - we then hiked up to the castle...where we would stop every so often to hear about the history. Lana was very entertaining in how she told us the story.

- Our entry time to the castle was 2:20. The guides do not go with us into the castle -- this is run by (maybe?) part of the gov't. Like others have mentioned - this is only about 30 minutes -- given that the whole interior is not completed. For me, this was enough time in the castle, since the beauty is really the outside and surroundings. It's worth going in -- but not the 'main' reason to visit the castle (which is the nature / beauty of the outside)

- We were then done around 3:00 -- and had 1:20 hours before we had to meet back our guide at the bottom of the hill / in the village. This gave us time to walk down the road and go have something to eat -- with time to spare.

- Then bus ride back to the train station ... with 2 hour train ride.

It was a fabulous day and for us worth the investment of both time and money.

Thank you to Radius and Lana and Jeremy for a wonderful day.

Amazing!

Radius tours clearly have been running this for a long time. Every aspect of the tour from meeting at the tour office to the train, shuttle bus, and then up to the castle was timed perfectly! There was enough buffer to not feel rushed and still enjoy everything you would want. The guide knew where to grab a snack but also where fee public restrooms were easily accessible. And then you get the educational part of the tour. If only my European history class was this interesting

Amazing!

We got lucky that it had snowed the day before we toured. While the skies were mostly gray and cloudy, the snow on the trees was beautiful. It was a long walk up to the castle but Heide made strategic stops along the way and did a great job explaining the history of the castle and German royalty.

Our guide Lana was remarkable. Very personable and kept everyone engaged and kept the tour organized and on time throughout. The weather was cold how the views and experience was well worth it. Highly recommend the visit and radius tours.

Amazing!

Our fantastic guide, Lana, made our trip fun and exciting. The castle itself isn't as much as the story behind it and its surroundings are. The trip is well worth the cost and the time. Travelling by train through the snowy villages was a magic of its kind. Oh, and our group was fun, considering that among 20 of us, we had representatives from four continents. And a local.
