We really enjoyed our tour to Delphi. Our cruise ended in Pireaus. We had the driver pick us up at the cruise port and drop us off afterwards at our hotel in Athens, where we stayed a few more nights. It was a great way to spend the day because we couldn't check in until later in the day anyway. The tour was on our own and the service was pretty much just driving. However, the driver was very knowledgeable and talkative, so we learned so much, not just about Delphi, but about other things we passed by and Greek history. He also gave us tips on things to see and do in Athens.

Excellent tour. The driver was prompt. The tour guide was wonderfully knowledgeable & accommodating. Lunch was at a lovely family restaurant. And there was still time to do some of the best shopping i did in Greece.

It appears that we went at the best time as all of the locals were on vacation so traffic was almost nonexistent. The Temple of Apollo was magnificent, although quite a hike, and the scenery was beautiful. After visiting the Temple we went to the museum and then lunch. The restaurant was great and the view was spectacular. I had the lamb chops and they were very tasty. A great trip.
