My family and I were in Venice for 1 week and booked many tours but this was by far the BEST tour and tour guide of the week. Several weeks prior to our arrival in Italy, our tour guide Riccardo reached out to me to confirm the tour details and pick up location. The day before the tour Riccardo sent another message with the plans for the day so that my family and I could dress accordingly ( which was extremely appreciated as a group of ladies). He arrived on time, the tour van was very clean and in great condition and we took a relaxing drive to the vineyards. Both vineyards were gorgeous and well kept and family owned. The owners were gracious and welcoming and very knowledgeable about the wines. They provided light snacks for us which were delicious and ALL of the wines tasted amazing. We bought so many bottles that we had to ship them directly home! The day also included a walking tour of Verona where Riccardo showed us many historical sites and was very knowledgeable about the city. Overall we had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Riccardo is a gentle and knowledgeable guide who took us to some excellent family run wineries on this tour. We would highly recommend wine lovers choose Riccardo as he will listen to you and cater the tour to your needs. His knowledge of wine and regional history was excellent, as well as enabling us to skip the queue into a major attraction for a quick visit. The journey was safe and comfortable. Riccardo speaks clear English and was a good tutor along the way to help me practice Italian. Grazie mille!

This was a lovely tour! My family had a great experience at both wineries and we loved the walking tour of Verona. Ricardo was very knowledgeable and kind. It was a perfect day trip from Venice!
My recommendation is to eat a large breakfast because there was no time for lunch. We were ok with just the snacks because we ate a huge breakfast.

We couldn’t have been more lucky to have Riccardo as our guide for this wonderful tour of 2 wineries - one specialising in Soave and the second in Amarone. Riccardo is very knowledgeable about wine and has built great relationships with wine making families who produce beautiful wines and welcome guests with warmth and great hospitality. Each tasting is accompanied by a tour of the winery and an explanation of the processes involved. Riccardo also took us on a lovely walking tour of Verona. Thank you Riccardo for a perfect day.

Our guide, Riccardo was a level 3 sommelier. He was knowledgeable and passionate about wine. The Soave and Valpolicella regions were gorgeous and the wineries we toured were welcoming and informative. I am an Amarone lover for life. Verona was beautiful and Riccardo was as knowledgeable about the city’s history as he was about the wines. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour and ask for Riccardo as your guide.

His choice of wineries were perfect along with the tour around Verona. You know it had to be good as we are patiently waiting for our wines to be delivered! You cannot go wrong with Ricardo!
