Amazing!

We had Izzie as a guide and she was lovely. Very knowledgeable and engaging, we felt like we were hiking with a friend.

Amazing!

This was a really nice tour for me and my family exploring different islands in the fiord. Thanks a lot to Astrid and Christian that explained a lot of historical and contemporary facts in an interesting way. I would strongly recommend! Greetings from Roberto, Claudia and Luca.

Amazing!

The Oslo Nature Walk definitely did not disappoint. From the ever-changing views of the city and surroundings while the Metro Ride ascended upward from sea level to approximately 500 metres, were just the initial introduction to the Walk. Hiking through the dense forest, rocky paths, and alongside a large marsh led to majestic, expansive views of the fjord, islands and ski jumps. Romek made the Walk even more interesting with insights and stimulating conversation around life in Oslo, particular places and sights not to be missed while in Norway, and the local and national history. We would recommend the Oslo Nature Walk - and particularly our guide, Romek. Thanks again for a great day !!

Hi Ashlee,

Thank you for the glowing review and I of course made sure Josh and Patrick saw your great feedback. You also posted some great pictures so thanks for taking the extra time to do that. I will say that I am not too surprised you enjoyed your time with Josh and Patrick: they are a dream-time with nearly 2000 tours of experience between the two of them! They know what they are doing and love it.

Amazing!

We loved the time we spent walking through the mountains. It was beautiful and scenic- so much variety. It is not an easy hike though, so be prepared to be challenged!

Amazing!

We took a private tour with Christian on Friday, May 11. Although the weather did not look good, we decided to continue. The day turned out to be perfect! Christian was a wonderful guide - he shared so many things about Norway's culture and history as we spent 7+ hours together. We enjoyed every minute of our day and will return to Viking Biking and Hiking when we return to Oslo. We previously did the Island Hopping with Curtis and Christian. It was also fantastic!

Hi and what a nice review. Christian had a great time with you on tour too and we remember that you are repeat customers from last year, which means so much to us. Thank you for coming on tour with us now a couple of times and we are so happy to hear you enjoyed both experiences. If we could give reviews on customers, you would get 5 stars too :-)

Best regards,

Curtis & Christian

Great!

I did the hike with my 13 year old son who is your typical couch-bound city kid. He is now in love with nature and planning to walk and hike regularly. I myself missed the strong connection to nature I had grown up with as a child and this trip emphasised the need to make it a regular part of our lives. Well done, Norway! Thank you Viking Biking for the inspiration! Only one suggestion to the organisers: advise participants to have a late breakfast or an early lunch and/or to take snacks to munch when needed. The promised picnic stop was at 4pm, and we'd had breakfast at 8am and no lunch. I'd just skip the picnic from the walk!

Many thanks for the nice review, and we are glad you enjoyed the Norwegian concept of "friluftsliv", or outdoor living. To read that your son was inspired by the tour is the best feedback we can receive! Sorry the picnic stop was so late, as we usually stop around 14:45 (2:45pm) but the tour that day ran a bit slower and later than usual. But what a picnic stop, as hopefully you found the amazing view worth the wait :-)

Best regards,

Curtis
