Fado Dinner Show and Night Lights Tour in Porto

Best evening in Porto. Do not miss your chance. Best meal in Porto and the fado was not as depressing as expected. Both singers were great. I loved Rita. My husband preferred paolo !well planned timing good/music etc. Lovely service! Truly a great night evening out and 40 euros well spent.

We had a night tour of the city then the dinner and music. The dinner was delicious. We both enjoyed the music and passionate singing.

The Fado night was amazing and food good as well. Our driver did everything possible to make the evening S memorable as possible

Our guide, Maria, picked us up from our hotel to drive us to the Fado dinner show. Enroute she pointed out the highlights of Porto. When we arrived the venue, Maria made sure we were settled in the restaurant. The restaurant provided a lovely and delicious three course meal while listening to traditional Fado music. The musicians & singers were truly magnificent!

Sara, our guide was a delight. She pointed out some very helpful locations and things to which helped to informed our self directed activities the following day. The Fado show was everything we hoped. Portuguese guitar is beautiful and the singers were truly engaged yo the point that we felt the emotion without understanding the lyrics. The food was typical Portuguese and delicious.

The best way to spend a night in Porto! Our tour guide, Maria, was incredibly knowledgeable and she took us on a fantastic tour prior to dinner. We saw so many great historic points but I think our favorite was seeing where the river meets the sea. Maria explained how the locals gather in a plaza on the banks of the water and enjoy their beverage of choice to watch the sunset. The Fado show and dinner was phenomenal! The location felt intimate and we felt like we were transported in time. The food was delicious and the Fado show itself was a delight! To hear authentic Portuguese music, beautifully performed, was truly wonderful. It definitely made for a romantic night out!

The title of this tour is deceptive. Not only were we treated to some wonderful Portuegese Fado music throughout the evening, with several courses of authentic local food and drink, but prior to arrival at the restaurant we had a very nice city tour including sights on both sides of the Tagus river. Our guide was excellent and a wealth of information regarding Lisbon.

My sister(my best friend) and me were collected at our hotel by Marco, an amicable employee of Cooltour. The little tour around Porto at night paired with the funny stories and the little language course of Marco made us sure that we would have a wonderful night in Porto.

When we entered the restaurant, we were welcomed by very kind people. As they knew from my food intolerances, they did everything to make sure I could still enjoy the time there.

Unfortunately, I forgot to ask their names, but I want to thank the waiters for their effort again. Especially the tall one, who really bothered about me. Thank you so much!

After eating the most delicious salmon in my life, the Fado began with the lovely voice of Patricia Costa. I fell in love with her voice and bought her CD immediately when it was offered to us :) Even though I understood the text in snatches, I was close to tears 3 times that evening! Fado is all about feeling. No matter if it's about love, hate, solitude or hope. It was my first contact with Fado and will definitely not be the last.
