BIKES
During the trip you will be provided with a 24 speed bike with hand brakes and locks. You will be provided with a pannier to carry your gear during the day. Helmets are supplied but you are also welcome to bring your own well-fitted helmet from home (this is recommended). Electric bikes are available for an additional cost (must be pre-booked).
You will find your rental bikes waiting for you at your first hotel. The hotel reception staff will give you the keys for your bikes and direct you to the bicycle shed. Make sure you always lock your bike when you are not cycling.
BIKE INSURANCE
It is possible to purchase Bicycle Theft Insurance. Covered are: damages arising out of the theft of the bicycle; and damages to the bicycle as a consequence of the theft. Not covered are: theft of bicycle parts; and damages arising out of attempted theft.
This needs to be prebooked and prepaid in advance. Speak with your consultant for further details.
Always check your bicycle before setting out each day. Make sure to lock your bicycle, always and everywhere. Never put your keys for your bike in your luggage or somewhere else where you can’t reach it. Take your e-bike charger with you at all times during your cycling trip (charger is in the bike bag if the E-bike is not already loaded)
In the case of a puncture the assumption is that you can repair. You will be given a puncture repair kit, to fix the issue.

Start your day with a ride through Biesbosch National Park, one of the few remaining freshwater tidal areas in Europe. Cross the Hollands Diep river on a 1km-long bridge and enter the Brabant province.
