Today's highlight is the mesmerizing 'Rhine in Flames' event. But first, we arrive in Koblenz, situated at the confluence of the Rhine and the Moselle Rivers. Explore the town on foot or take a cable car to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, situated high above the town. In the evening, enjoy the spectacle of the countryside illuminated by the amazing fireworks display.

Spend the morning on deck as we cruise the most beautiful section of the river - the legendary Upper Middle Rhine Valley. At noon, we arrive in the winegrowers town of Rüdesheim. Choose a walking tour of the town, visit the unique Mechanical Music Cabinet Museum, or visit a local vineyard for a tasting of the local wines. Enjoy a walk through the famous Drosselgasse with its wine taverns, garden restaurants, beer bars, and live music venues.

In the afternoon, we visit Speyer, a city known for its cathedral where eight Roman emperors and German kings are interred. Explore the city on a guided tour, including a visit to the medieval Jewish Mikvha, or venture out on your own. In the evening, enjoy the Captain's Gala Dinner.

We arrive in the dynamic capital of Alsace, Strasbourg. Explore the city's famous cathedral, the Petite France quarter, and the Council of Europe. The city center, known as the Grand Island, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can choose to see Strasbourg by canal boat or join the tour to the nearby town of Freiburg. After lunch on board, take in the views of the romantic Rhine as we move toward Switzerland, our final destination.
