London to Athens and Greek Island Hopping (Plus, Start Paris, 27 Days)

Welcome to the first day of your European adventure! We start in London, then journey to the awe-inspiring White Cliffs of Dover. After a ferry ride across the English Channel, we arrive in Calais, France, where we'll explore the historical World War I battlefields in the Valley of the Somme. Our day ends in the glittering city of love, Paris, with a guided tour of the Montparnasse Tower and the city itself. We'll also enjoy a delicious group dinner.

After breakfast, we'll leave Paris behind and head to our next destination, the beautiful city of Lyon. Known for its historical and architectural landmarks, Lyon offers a rich tapestry of experiences. Spend the evening exploring this vibrant city with your travel companions.

We'll leave Lyon after breakfast and head to our next destination, the vibrant city of Barcelona, Spain. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and rich culture, Barcelona is a city like no other. Upon arrival, we'll marvel at the stunning Sagrada Familia, Gaudi's architectural masterpiece. In the evening, we'll enjoy dinner at one of the city's exceptional eateries.

Today, we leave Barcelona and head to the glamorous French Riviera. On our way, we'll stop in Arles, a typical provincial French town, where we'll get a glimpse of an ancient Roman Arena. As we roll through the glitzy coastline of the French Riviera, you'll feel like a celebrity amidst the sapphire waters and endless glamour.

Today, we bid farewell to the French Riviera and head to Italy, taking in the sights of Liguria, Lombardia, and the Veneto regions along the way. Before we cross the border into Italy, we'll stop in Eze to visit a traditional French perfumery. We'll end our day in the floating city of Venice, a splendid way to commence our Italian adventure.

Today is all about Florence. We'll uncover the beautiful art of traditional leatherwork, explore streets bursting with heritage, and see all the top sights on a walking tour. In the afternoon, you'll have free time to explore the local markets and taste the local gelato. In the evening, you can opt for a visit to a 14th-century Certosan monastery, followed by dinner and wine at a magical Tuscan restaurant nestled in the countryside.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do! Today, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the Colosseum and explore the city on your own. Enjoy an espresso while people-watching, or indulge in delicious pasta, gelato, and caprese salad. And of course, don't forget to sample the local wine.

Today, we'll start our island hopping adventures with our first destination: Mykonos. Known for its beautiful beaches and vibrant nightlife, Mykonos is a true Greek Island paradise. In the evening, you can opt for a locally guided walking tour of the town's cobbled streets.

Get ready for a day full of exploring Mykonos. Stroll down storybook streets dotted with gorgeous blue domes, shop for evil eye ornaments, or take a dip in the ocean. The day is yours to soak up the sunshine and play in the sea.

Today, we leave Mykonos and head to our next Greek Island, Paros. Known for its beaches, naturally sculpted swimming coves, a Byzantine church, and traditional villages, Paros offers a unique Greek Island experience. You can opt for a trip to a traditional village where you'll visit a local family-run bakery and shop for local handicrafts.

Another day, another Greek Island delight. Today, we'll visit a fishing village in Paros. In the evening, we'll enjoy an included dinner at a local restaurant, before heading out to sample the local (and legendary) nightlife.

Today, we leave Paros and head to Greece's most insta-famous island: Santorini. Known for its stunning sunsets, white-washed houses, and blue-domed churches, Santorini is a true Greek Island paradise. In the evening, you can opt for a cruise to take in the iconic Fira.

Today, you'll have the entire day to explore Santorini. Take a swim at Perissa Beach, eat the local specialty of fried tomato balls known as domatokeftedes, or roam and explore. You can even opt to take a trip to incredible Oia followed by a winery visit.

Today, we leave Santorini and head to our final Greek Island, Ios. A bit more rugged and remote than Santorini and Mykonos, Ios offers a nice change of scenery. We'll join together for an included dinner tonight, with another free evening on the cards afterwards.

Our final Island day, and your last chance to soak up the Greek sun and frolic in the sand. You can opt for a speedboat safari, or take a leisurely stroll around the pretty village of Ios Chora. In the evening, you can hit the party scene of Hora until the break of dawn.

Today, we leave the Greek Islands behind and head back to Athens. Enjoy the boat ride and soak up the last rays of the Mediterranean sun. Once in Athens, you can opt for a farewell dinner with your travel companions.
