10 Days Turkish Culinary & Wine Tour

Welcome to Istanbul! Upon your arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel in the old city. A welcome package with tour vouchers, a city map, and other useful information will be waiting for you. At 7 pm, join your guide and fellow guests for a welcome meeting at the hotel. Then, embark on a culinary journey through Istanbul's vibrant street food scene. Sample traditional artisan dishes, Turkish delight, and local drinks. Enjoy a dinner of lahmacun, kokoreç, and midye dolma, some of Istanbul's most popular street foods.

After breakfast, we'll drive to the Thrace region, a geographical area known for its centuries-old tradition of winemaking. Visit Barel, Umurbey, and Suvla Wineries, taste their exquisite wines, and learn about the region's winemaking history. After crossing the Dardanelles, we'll arrive in Canakkale, where we'll spend the night.

Today, we'll journey to the ancient city of Troy, where you'll see the model of the Trojan Horse, sacrificial altars, and 3700-year-old city walls. Afterward, we'll head to Bergama for lunch and a guided tour of the Pergamon Acropolis. Explore the ruins of Zeus Altar, the Hellenistic Theatre, the Great Library, and various temples. We'll also visit the Olive Oil Museum to learn about olive oil production. We'll end the day in Kusadasi, where we'll spend the night.

After breakfast, we'll explore the ancient Roman city of Ephesus. Wander through the Arcadian Way, Roman Baths, Temple of Hadrian, the Celsius Library, and the Antique Theatre. In the afternoon, we'll visit the charming Sirince village, where we'll taste local wines and enjoy lunch in an authentic restaurant. We'll return to Kusadasi for dinner and overnight.

Today, we'll visit a local village near the ancient city of Priene. Experience the local life in an Aegean village and take a cooking course to learn how to prepare traditional Turkish dishes. After enjoying a lunch of your own creation, we'll explore the cotton and olive gardens in the village, if the season allows. We'll return to Kusadasi for the night.
