5 Days Cappadocia - Mt Nemrut - Gobeklitepe - Gaziantep Tour from Istanbul

Rise early for an optional hot air balloon flight to witness the breathtaking views of Cappadocia's valleys. Begin your exploration at the Red Valley, famous for its rock-cut churches, and hike through the mesmerizing fairy chimneys. Visit Cavusin, a Greek village known for its rock-cut churches, before heading to Ozkonak, the largest underground city in the region. After lunch, marvel at the dovecotes in Pigeon Valley and end your day at Ortahisar Castle, the biggest fairy chimney in Cappadocia. Overnight stay will be in Cappadocia.

Depart from Cappadocia and journey across the Tekir plateau towards Adiyaman and Mt Nemrut. En route, stop at the Seljuk Karatay Caravansaray and the city of Kahramanmaras, famous for its ice cream. Visit Arsemia, the ancient capital of the Commagene Kingdom, and marvel at the ancient Severus Bridge and the Karakus Tumulus. As the day ends, ascend Mt Nemrut to witness a magical sunrise over the plateau and visit the ancient rock statues. Overnight stay will be in Adiyaman.

Drive to Sanliurfa, stopping at the impressive Ataturk Dam along the way. Visit Gobekli Tepe, believed to be the site of the world's oldest temple. After lunch in Sanliurfa, explore Harran, known for its mud-brick 'beehive' houses and mentioned in the book of Genesis. Visit the ruins of Harran, including city walls, the oldest Islamic university, and an 18th-century castle. Return to Sanliurfa to visit the Mevlid-i Halil Mosque and the Prophet Abraham Cave. Wander around the oriental covered bazaar before retiring for the night in Sanliurfa.
