I went to a complete old city tour with Gozde. She was extremely knowledgeable. I loved learning interesting facts and amazing historical tales about the city. It was my first time visiting Istanbul and I did a tour around Sultanahmet area with Ugurcan. We visited Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, Cistern Basilica, Grand Bazaar and a little bit of Tokepi. He was very knowledgeable and very warm - it doesn't feel like a tour, it feels more like visiting places with a friend who lives in Istanbul and knows the gems in the city. He has interesting stories and insights on historical places, and he maintained a really good pace of the tour. Ugurcan was super helpful with my request to stop and shop as well - we visited a really nice bookstore and some other shops (and I am impressed with his selection of shops - those that he pointed to me was of good quality and helped me avoid scams). He also helped me orient myself to Istanbul's public transport and many different neighbourhood around. All in all, it was such a good experience and I really recommend going with him for your Istanbul experience!
