Day 1 – Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

After breakfast, we'll embark on a full-day tour of Istanbul. We'll start with a visit to the vibrant Spice Market for some shopping. Then, we'll take a 1.5-hour Bosphorus Cruise, where you can marvel at the beauty of Istanbul, with its forests, palaces, and old houses. After a local lunch, we'll visit the iconic Sultanahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque), the Hippodrome, and the famous Hagia Sophia. We'll end the day with some free time at the Grand Bazaar. Overnight stay will be in Istanbul.

After breakfast, we'll visit the Topkapi Palace, the former residence of the Ottoman Sultans. Then, we'll depart for Ankara, the capital of Turkey. We'll arrive in Ankara in the early evening and spend the night in Istanbul.

After breakfast, we'll visit the Anatolian Civilizations Museum in Ankara, where you can see the ruins from various ancient civilizations. We'll also visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the founder of the Turkish Republic. In the afternoon, we'll drive to Cappadocia, stopping en route to explore an Underground City, one of the largest in the region. We'll also attend a Whirling Dervishes Ceremony, a mystical Sufi practice. Overnight stay will be in Cappadocia.

After breakfast, we'll spend the day exploring the enchanting region of Cappadocia. We'll visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Uchisar Village. We'll also marvel at the spectacular fairy chimneys and explore the Derbent Valley. You'll have the chance to attend workshops on carpets and onyx-stones. An optional hot air balloon tour is available for those who want to see the beauty of Cappadocia from the sky. Overnight stay will be in Cappadocia.

After breakfast, we'll drive to Pamukkale, stopping en route to visit the Sultanhan Caravansarai, a historic stopover for travelers and merchants during the Seljuk Empire. In Pamukkale, we'll visit the Cotton Steps, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its healing thermal waters. Overnight stay will be in Pamukkale.

After breakfast, we'll drive to Selcuk to visit the ancient city of Ephesus. We'll explore the Odeon, Temple of Hadrian, the House of Love, the Library of Celsus, and the Agora. We'll also visit the House of Virgin Mary, believed to be the final resting place of the mother of Jesus. After a stop at a Leather Production Store, we'll proceed to Izmir for the night.
