Day 1 – Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

After breakfast, we'll take a leisurely stroll through Sogukcesme Street, known for its traditional wooden houses. We'll then visit the grand Topkapi Palace, the former residence of Ottoman Sultans, and the iconic Saint Sophia, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture. After lunch, we'll explore the Blue Mosque, the Roman Hippodrome, and the bustling Grand Bazaar where you can shop for local crafts and souvenirs. Overnight stay will be in Istanbul.

Today, we'll walk along the Golden Horn, the natural harbor that separates the European part of Istanbul. We'll then have some free time to explore the aromatic Egyptian Bazaar. The highlight of the day is a scenic boat trip along the Bosphorus, offering stunning views of the city's European and Asian shores. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay will be in Istanbul.

We'll start the day early with a breakfast on the road as we head to Gallipoli, a site of great historical significance. Here, we'll visit the WWI Battlefields, including Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, ANZAC Cove, and original trenches and tunnels. We'll then cross the Dardanelles by ferry and make a photo stop at the famous Trojan Horse. We'll spend the night in Çanakkale.

Today, we'll step back in time as we visit the ancient city of Troy, home of the legendary Trojan Horse. We'll then explore the magnificent acropolis of Pergamum, a renowned cultural and political center in its time. After a day filled with historical wonders, we'll continue our journey to the coastal town of Kuşadası where we'll spend the night.

Our day begins with a visit to Ephesus, Europe's most complete ancient city. We'll explore its Agoras, Temples, Streets, Houses, and the grand Roman theater. We'll also visit the famous Celsius Library and the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Later in the day, we'll transfer to Izmir airport for a flight to Athens, Greece. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel in the city center.

After breakfast, we'll embark on a half-day sightseeing tour of Athens. We'll also explore the modern Acropolis Museum, home to nearly 4,000 exhibits of Hellenism. The rest of the day is yours to explore Athens at your own pace.
