Today, we journey to one of the most emotionally resonant sites in Turkey - the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli. Here, we will visit the Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, ANZAC Cove, The Nek, and Johnston's Jolly, where original trenches and tunnels still stand. After a day of poignant exploration, we retire to our special class accommodation in Çanakkale.

This morning, we step back in time as we visit the ancient city of Troy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We then continue to Bergama to explore the magnificent acropolis of Pergamon, a renowned cultural and political center in its time. After a day of historical exploration, we retire to our boutique accommodation in Kuşadası.

Today, immerse yourself in history with a guided tour of Ephesus and a visit to the site of the Temple of Artemis. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre before continuing to the former Greek village of Sirince, famous for its fruit wines. Today, we travel the ancient Silk Road, visiting the Sultanhani Caravansary and the Mevlana museum in Konya along the way. In the evening, you have the option to attend a traditional Turkish folklore evening. Overnight stay will be in a boutique cave hotel in Cappadocia.

Today, marvel at the lunar landscape of Cappadocia as we visit the Goreme Valley Open Air Museum, the fairy chimneys, and explore the many levels of an underground city. Overnight stay will be in a boutique cave hotel in Cappadocia.

Departing from Cappadocia in the morning, we head to Ankara for our direct flight to Van. Upon arrival, you will meet with your tour guide and explore the Citadel with its three thousand Urartian fortress of Van, witnessing an extraordinary sunset. After breakfast, we travel by ferry to Akdamar Island to see a spectacular 10th-century church built by an Armenian king. If time permits, enjoy a swim in Lake Van. Then, we visit the largest Urartu Museum in the world and the Van Cat House, home to the unique Van cats known for their swimming abilities. Overnight stay will be in a boutique hotel in Van.

After breakfast, we leave for Dogubayazit via Muradiye and the Bendimaahi Falls. In Dogubayazit, we visit the spectacular Ishak Pasha Palace, a unique fusion of Seljuk, Ottoman, Georgian, Armenian, and Persian architectural styles. In the afternoon, we skirt around the western edge of Mt. Ararat, one of the world's great natural spectacles, before heading to Igdir Airport for our flight to Istanbul.
