Turkey - Wonders of Cappadocia

After a hearty breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight to the enchanting region of Cappadocia. Known for its unique lunar landscapes and rich history, Cappadocia is a treasure trove of fascinating sights. Upon arrival, you'll be treated to a delicious dinner and a comfortable stay at a local hotel.

After breakfast, you'll embark on a full-day excursion of the captivating Cappadocia region. You'll explore the Goreme Valley, home to an incredible Byzantine monastic complex with churches carved into the rock and adorned with beautiful frescoes. You'll also visit the troglodyte villages of Uchisar and the fairy chimneys of Urgup, where you'll get a chance to see a local stone crafts center. Your journey will continue to Avanos, a town known for its pottery, and an underground city that served as a refuge for Christians in the past. The day will end with a visit to a carpet cooperative, where you'll learn about the art of Turkish carpet weaving. Dinner and accommodation will be provided.
