Here, you'll explore the stunning architecture of its ancient colleges, where some of the world's greatest minds, like Newton and Hawking, once studied. As we journey towards York, we'll pass through the legendary Sherwood Forest, home to the tales of Robin Hood. Upon reaching York, a city steeped in Roman, Viking, and Saxon history, you'll wander its medieval streets, marvel at the grandeur of York Minster, and stroll along its ancient walls. As night falls, enjoy the city's vibrant atmosphere and perhaps visit a traditional pub. Overnight stay in York at a comfortable hotel (or similar).

Today promises breathtaking landscapes as we venture through two of England's most picturesque national parks. After breakfast, we'll traverse the charming Yorkshire countryside to the medieval town of Barnard Castle for a brief exploration. Our journey continues through the timeless beauty of the Yorkshire Pennines, known as England's backbone, before reaching the serene Lake District. Here, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely lunch and a delightful boat ride on Lake Windermere. As the day winds down, we'll head to Liverpool, a city with a rich maritime history and the birthplace of The Beatles. After dinner at your hotel (or similar), consider visiting the iconic Cavern Club, where the legendary band performed nearly 300 times. Overnight stay in Liverpool.

After breakfast, we'll set off for Chester, a city that feels like a page from a fairy tale with its neo-Tudor architecture and Roman roots. Enjoy a guided walking tour of its enchanting streets and Gothic cathedral, followed by some free time to explore. Returning to Liverpool before lunch, we'll embark on a panoramic tour of the city, delving into its rich musical legacy and iconic landmarks. Our adventure continues through the idyllic Cotswolds, a region renowned for its quintessential English villages and stunning gardens. We'll pause in one of these charming villages before heading southwest to either Bath or Bristol for an overnight stay in a comfortable hotel (or similar).

This morning, we visit the enigmatic Stonehenge, a prehistoric monument that has captivated imaginations for millennia. After exploring this ancient site, we'll return to Bath for a panoramic walking tour of its beautiful Georgian streets. Enjoy free time to visit the Roman Baths or explore other local attractions like Bath Abbey, the Jane Austen Museum, or Pulteney Bridge. Spend the afternoon at your leisure, soaking in the city's rich history and culture. Overnight stay in Bath.

Our final day begins with a visit to Salisbury, where we'll admire its medieval cathedral, home to the best-preserved copy of the Magna Carta. Next, we head to Winchester, the former capital of Anglo-Saxon England. Enjoy a walking tour of this historic city, visiting its magnificent Gothic cathedral and the Great Hall of Winchester Castle, where King Arthur's Round Table resides. In the mid-afternoon, we'll return to London, allowing time for some last-minute shopping or exploration. End of services.
