Described is the normal accommodation that we use on this tour. At the time of booking please be aware that other places might be used instead, if these choices are full or closed for whatever reason. Rooms generally do not have baths. The main reason being that they take up a lot of space, some hotels/guesthouses may have a separate room in the house where a bath is available to guests, but in the main it is showers.

Day 1 – Day 1: Arrival in Chepstow
Day 1: Arrival in Chepstow
Begin your journey in the charming town of Chepstow, nestled on the River Wye. Spend your day exploring the town and if time permits, visit the historical ruins of Chepstow Castle. Your accommodation for the night is Beaufort House (or similar), a 16th-century coaching inn, where you can enjoy a delicious Welsh meal in their award-winning restaurant.
Day 2 – Day 2: Sedbury to Monmouth
Day 2: Sedbury to Monmouth
Start your day from the mud flats of the River Severn at Sedbury. The trail takes you along the River Wye, offering fantastic viewpoints. As you approach the Tintern Abbey meander, you'll find yourself walking on the Offa's Dyke. End your day in the border town of Monmouth, where you'll stay at the Riverside Hotel (or similar), a former 19th-century coaching inn.
Day 3 – Day 3: King’s Wood to Llangattock Lingoed
Day 3: King’s Wood to Llangattock Lingoed
Begin your day by climbing through the boggy King’s Wood and crossing the Trothy River. Visit the picturesque village of Llantillo Crosseny and the 12th-century White Castle. Your day ends in the rural hamlet of Llangattock Lingoed, where you'll stay at The Old Rectory (or similar), a charming 17th-century property.
Day 4 – Day 4: Pandy to the Black Mountains
Day 4: Pandy to the Black Mountains
Today's journey takes you from Pandy to the Black Mountains. You'll leave the lowland farms and rivers behind as you climb up onto the Hatterrall Ridge, offering spectacular views. Your accommodation for the night is The Crown Inn (or similar), a family-run establishment dating back to 1751.
Day 5 – Day 5: Hatterrall Ridge to Hay on Wye
Day 5: Hatterrall Ridge to Hay on Wye
Start your day with a steep ascent to regain the Hatterrall Ridge. Enjoy the stunning views from Hay Bluff before descending into Hay on Wye, the capital of the second-hand book trade. Your accommodation for the night is Seven Stars (or similar), conveniently located in the town center.
Day 6 – Day 6: River Wye to Kington
Day 6: River Wye to Kington
Today's walk takes you from the River Wye into the Radnorshire Hills. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and historical sites along the way. Your destination for the day is Kington, a town in Herefordshire, where you'll stay at The Burton Hotel (or similar).
Day 7 – Day 7: Bradnor Hill to Knighton
Day 7: Bradnor Hill to Knighton
Embark on what many consider the finest walk of the whole path, with Offa's Dyke as your constant companion. Enjoy the beautiful westward panoramas across the Radnor Valley. Your day ends in the bustling market town of Knighton, where you'll stay at The Red Lion (or similar).

After breakfast, make your way to the train station for your onward journey. As you leave, take a moment to reflect on the unforgettable experiences and memories you've made during this multi-day tour.
