Embark on a thrilling multi-day tour that takes you through the heart of Snowdonia, Wales. This adventure-filled journey is perfect for hiking enthusiasts, offering the opportunity to conquer 14 of Snowdonia's highest peaks. You'll be staying in a charming Victorian hotel located in the picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed, providing the perfect base for your daily hiking expeditions. Each day brings a new challenge, from tackling the rugged Carneddau mountain range to ascending Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales. Along the way, you'll enjoy breathtaking views, diverse landscapes, and the camaraderie of your fellow hikers. This tour is not just about the physical challenge, it's about immersing yourself in the natural beauty of Snowdonia and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Breakfast
Breakfast is provided each morning, so you'll start the day fuelled up and ready to take on those mountain peaks!
Lunch
We also provide you with a packed lunch each day, so you can soak up the views from the trails while you re-energise ready for the afternoon.
Evening meals
Your evening meal is included on the first night, giving you chance to get to know your guides and fellow hikers. On the following evenings you have the option of a couple of pubs serving homely food and an outdoor centre with a bar that serves food, all within walking distance of your hostel. Betws-Y-Coed is just 5 miles down the road, offering a number of bars, restaurants and cafes. Or if you fancy rustling up your own meal one night, the hostel has a large kitchen for guests to use.

You'll be staying in a quality hotel with comfortable bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. It's a traditional Victorian property dating back to the 1800s, situated in the centre of the pretty village of Betws-y-Coed.
You'll only ever have a local, professional guide when you adventure with us. Someone who knows the area like the back of their hand and can show you the hidden gems you're unlikely to find alone.
For the 14 Peaks Experience you'll benefit from the experience of a qualified Mountaineering Instructor and a Mountain Leader. Together they'll share their knowledge of this stunning region and with a 1:4 guide to guest ratio, they'll always give you the attention you need, helping you if needed with the sections of more challenging terrain.

Daily Itinerary
Day 1 – Day 1: Arrival in Betws-y-Coed
Day 1: Arrival in Betws-y-Coed
Arrive at your traditional Victorian hotel in the heart of Betws-y-Coed between 4pm and 5pm. Settle into your comfortable room, complete with an ensuite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. In the evening, join your guides and fellow hikers for a welcome meal in the hotel restaurant.
Day 2 – Day 2: Conquering the Carneddau
Day 2: Conquering the Carneddau
After breakfast, we'll drive you to the starting point of your hike in Snowdonia. Your first challenge is the Carneddau mountain range, where you'll tackle six of Snowdonia's highest peaks. After a rewarding day of hiking, return to your hotel in Betws-y-Coed for a well-deserved rest.
Day 3 – Day 3: The Glyderau Challenge
Day 3: The Glyderau Challenge
Day three of your Snowdonia adventure begins with a hike up Tryfan, part of the rugged Glyderau range. Despite being the lowest of the 14 peaks, it's a challenging climb that sets the tone for the day. After conquering five more peaks, return to your hotel in Betws-y-Coed for a well-earned rest.
Day 4 – Day 4: The Snowdon Massif

The final day of hiking is the most challenging yet, as you ascend Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales. Start with a scramble up Crib Goch, followed by a traverse along a knife-edge ridge. After reaching the summit of Snowdon, descend back to Betws-y-Coed for a celebratory drink in the local pub.

After a final breakfast in your Welsh mountain home, it's time to pack your bags and say goodbye to your new friends. As you depart from Betws-y-Coed, you'll take with you the memories of an incredible three days spent conquering the peaks of Snowdonia.
