Day 1 – Day 1: Keflavík/Copenhagen to Qassiarsuk via Narsarsuaq

Begin your journey in Keflavík or Copenhagen, from where you'll fly to the town of Narsarsuaq. A boat ride across the iceberg-filled Tunulliarfik Fjord will take you to the village of Qassiarsuk, the site of the ancient Viking settlement of Brattahlid. Enjoy a guided tour of the ruins and a replica of the chapel and longhouse. Spend the night in a local guesthouse.
Day 2 – Day 2: Qassiarsuk to Camp Qaleraliq via Narsaq
Day 2: Qassiarsuk to Camp Qaleraliq via Narsaq
Set sail for Camp Qaleraliq, stopping at the town of Narsaq, the third-largest in South Greenland. Explore the local market and fur stores before continuing to the camp, located on a sandy beach with stunning views of the Qaleraliq glacier. Fall asleep to the sound of the glacier calving in your tent.
Day 3 – Day 3: Exploration of Tasersuatsiaq Lake
Day 3: Exploration of Tasersuatsiaq Lake
Embark on a hike to the large Tasersuatsiaq Lake, crossing a valley of sand dunes and lush green tundra. Climb a 400 m high viewing mountain for a majestic view of the lake, one of the largest in South Greenland, and the ice sheet. Keep an eye out for reindeer and gather berries and mushrooms for dinner. Spend another night in the camp.
Day 4 – Day 4: Glacier Hike on Qaleraliq Glacier
Day 4: Glacier Hike on Qaleraliq Glacier
Experience the thrill of a glacier hike on the Qaleraliq Glacier, guided by a trained glacier guide. Explore the crevasses, caves, séracs, and other ice formations, with crampons provided for all shoes. If weather or ice conditions are not suitable, you'll hike to the Valley of the Reindeer instead. Spend another night at the camp.
Day 5 – Day 5: Camp Qaleraliq to Qassiarsuk via Itilleq and Igaliko
Day 5: Camp Qaleraliq to Qassiarsuk via Itilleq and Igaliko
Travel by Zodiac to Itilleq and hike along the 'King's Trail' to Igaliko. Visit the ruins of the archbishopric of Gardar, the religious capital of the Vikings. Return to Itilleq and take a Zodiac tour into the Qoorooq fjord to the glacier of the same name. Continue to Qassiarsuk for an overnight stay in the guesthouse.
Day 6 – Day 6: Exploration of Tasiusaq and Sermilik Fjord
Day 6: Exploration of Tasiusaq and Sermilik Fjord
Hike to the Tasiusaq homestead, home to seven people living in seclusion on the Sermilik fjord, which is almost completely blocked by icebergs from the nearby glacier. Explore the surrounding area and some Viking ruins. Enjoy some time fishing and exploring the area. Optionally, embark on a kayak excursion in the 'Bay of Icebergs'. Spend the night in the guesthouse.

Take a Zodiac cruise to Narsarsuaq and hike through the 'Valley of 1000 Flowers' with spectacular views of a glacier-formed valley and an abundance of flowering plants, until you have an unforgettable panoramic view of the Kiattut glacier and its nunataks. Enjoy a farewell dinner with typical Inuit products, including whale, seal, and reindeer meat. Spend the night in the guesthouse.

Enjoy some free time to explore Narsarsuaq and its beautiful museum before your return flight to Keflavík or Copenhagen. From there, you can continue your journey home or to your next destination.
