Today, you'll leave Toronto behind and catch a charter flight to Kangerlussuaq, a quaint town in western Greenland. Upon arrival, you'll board the Ultramarine, your vessel for the upcoming expedition. After a welcome and safety briefing from your leader, you'll have the chance to meet your expedition team and fellow travelers. Get ready for the adventure that lies ahead!

Over the next few days, you'll sail through Disko Bay, a large open bay in western Greenland known for its deep-sea whales. Explore the community of Illulissat, located at the head of the fjord for the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sermeq Kujalleq (Jakobshavn Glacier). Discover the wild beauty of Equip Sermia and the Torsukatak Fjords, with their large, active glacial faces. If conditions allow, you might even get a helicopter ride to appreciate the region's immensity from above. Visit Qeqertarsuaq, one of Greenland's oldest settlements, known for its unusual geology, lush vegetation, and cultural offerings like musical performances at Vorherres Bleaekhus. Continue your exploration of Sisimiut, Eternity Fjord, and Itilleq. In Sisimiut, you can visit the open-air museum, participate in local tastings, or join a hiking group. Spend your final day in Sisimiut, Eternity Fjord, and Itilleq.
