Children (4-14) will join the safari on a heated and covered sled positioned behind the guide’s snowmobile. We highly recommend that one of the parents sits with a small child in the sled for the child’s comfort and safety. Please consider whether this activity is suitable for your young child, taking into account the outdoor stay and cold conditions. If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged. In this case, you need to book the child as an adult! The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and in possession of a driving license valid in Finland. The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle. Securing self-liability waiver for your snowmobile prior to the safari minimizes potential self-liability costs to a maximum of 250€ / person/snowmobile/accident, down from the standard 980€ in case of an accident. This waiver is individualized and applicable for a single snowmobile safari.
