Welcome to Greece! Upon landing at Heraklion Airport, you'll be escorted to a comfortable bus that will whisk you away to your hotel in either Gouves or Chersonissos. After settling in, the remainder of the day is yours to explore the charming surroundings at your own pace. A delightful dinner awaits you at the hotel, followed by a restful night's sleep.

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we'll set off for a day of exploration. Our first stop is Spinalonga, a poignant island known for its past as a leper colony. Here, you'll take a guided tour through the remnants of the colony, learning about its history and the lives of its inhabitants. Afterward, we'll sail back to Elounda, where a traditional Cretan lunch awaits. Spend the afternoon strolling around the town, shopping, or taking a refreshing dip in the sea. We'll return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we'll journey to the ancient Palace of Knossos, the center of the Minoan civilization and the mythical home of the Minotaur. A guided tour will reveal the palace's treasures and tales of its legendary kings. Next, we'll visit vibrant Heraklion, where you can admire the Venetian lion fountain and the loggia that now serves as the Town Hall. The day concludes with an optional guided tour of the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion, before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we'll embark on an exciting journey through the central part of Crete. Our first stop is the Potamies Reservoir water dam, followed by the ruins of the Roman aqueduct of Lyttos. We'll then visit the charming village of Kastamonitsa for a coffee break before heading off-road to the Cave of Zeus. After capturing stunning photos of the Lassithi Plateau, we'll descend to the plateau for a BBQ lunch with unlimited wine. Our adventure continues at the timeless Lassithi plateau and ends in the village of Krassi, where you'll see a 2,000-year-old plane tree and a natural spring water source. We'll then return to the hotel for overnight.
