Good to know

• You may be refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements • Entry to the Cathedral is not guaranteed as the Cathedral is a working church and hours can change without notice due to liturgical or other reasons. Our guides make every effort to enter the Cathedral with guests. • Please note that the low season (generally November to March) is often seen as an opportunity for renovation and maintenance. Therefore, sites can be closed during this period, often without warning. • Please note that Brunelleschi’s Dome requires climbing 463 steps, with no lift available. • The dome climb is strongly not recommended for people with cardiovascular, respiratory diseases, vertigo, claustrophobia, and pregnant women. • Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets. • Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.
