Your Italian adventure begins with a private group pick-up from Rome Fiumicino Airport. From there, we'll embark on a scenic drive to the ancient Roman town of Vasto, located on the Adriatic Coastline. Along the way, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Abruzzo mountains and National Parks, adorned with hilltop villages and castles. Upon arrival in Vasto, we'll check into the charming Hotel San Marco (or similar) located in the historical center. We'll then visit a 'trabocco', a unique fishing platform, where depending on the weather, you'll learn the art of fishing from our host, Rinaldo. His wife, Maria, will prepare a delicious lunch with fresh fish from the Adriatic Sea. In the afternoon, we'll drive to the enchanting village of Roccascalegna, known for its stunning castle.
