Quad /2pax – Off-road Excursion w/ lunch – From Ponta Delgada to Sete Cidades

The guide, Fillipe, was wonderful! The scenery was stunning and the ride was exhilarating. This is a must-do activity!

This tour is fantastic. You get to drive every type of road the island has to offer, and at each stop the tour guides offer information about the area and nature. The views are so good, you’ll question your sanity.

Amazing orgnization, safe, great spots, time to walk around, photos and food. Great guide, Luis, thank you!! Super knowledgable, helpful and kind. Lunch was a buffet with some meet, fish, veggies and amazing desert. You won't leave hungry. Bring gloves, we got some for 3eur in decathlon, they served perfectly. We drove partly on the road and mostly off road, many sports that are not reachable by an average rented car and you can see loads when not enough time for hiking. We were hesitant if to go for half or full day but this one was amazing, we were back around 16:30 and passed by an amazing sunset recommended by Luis.

Good fun and AMAZING experience. We loved this adventure so much and our guide Ruben was really good! We spent about 4 hours of fun, ride (some offroading too) and beauritul views.

Amazing experience exploring Sete Cidades and a traditional lunch spot in a small town. I would recommend the buggys as the ATV’s are more dangerous and uncomfortable.

Its beautiful experience , and the guid robin knows what to do , which make the trip even more beatiful , i had agood time and saw many beautiful sights over the mountain

This was an awesome experience. The guide (staff) was very friendly and serviceable. He explained to my wife how to ride the ATV before we left the meeting point (along with a safety briefing). I will suggest to wear a good wind breaker and to check the weather for Sete Cidades for that morning. It was foggy for us on that morning and it rained on the way up the rim. But the truth is that we really enjoyed u and had a good time just riding up the mountain (even when we were getting wet). Once we got to the top we could see and enjoyed the awesome view of both sides, and the weather changed for better. The trails were ok and we were keeping a slow speed to admire their outdoors. The food at Sete Cidades was delicious, and the people/staff was very friendly in that town. The church is very pretty and it’s garden was beautiful. Once again: the view from up there is AMAZING!

I could not have asked any more from the staff at Civitatis and ANC. As I am solo traveler, it was difficult finding a tour that would book a single, but Sylvia at Civitatis was able to accommodate me, and Luis at ANC took great care of me and the group I was with. I was disappointed that the foggy weather prevented seeing the great views from the crater ridge, but that was not anyone’s fault. I had an excellent time regardless with a nice group of people.
