Transylvania & Enchantment of Eastern Europe - Rousse 

After breakfast, we'll set off for Brasov, a charming city nestled in the heart of Transylvania. En route, we'll visit the world-renowned Bran Castle, also known as Dracula's Castle. Immerse yourself in the castle's intriguing history and stunning architecture before continuing to Brasov.

Today, we'll embark on a panoramic city tour of Brasov. Visit the First Romanian School Museum and the St. Nicholas Church, both significant centers of Romanian culture and education. Continue with a guided walk through Brasov's medieval downtown, culminating with a visit to the Black Church, the largest Gothic church east of Vienna.

After breakfast, we'll depart Brasov and journey through the scenic Carpathian Mountains to Sinaia, known as the 'Pearl of the Carpathians'. Here, we'll visit the magnificent Peles Castle, a summer residence of the first King of Romania. After exploring the castle's opulent rooms and valuable art collections, we'll continue our drive back to Bucharest.

Start your day with a guided drive through Bucharest, visiting the iconic Spring Palace. After the tour, you'll have free time to explore the city's leafy boulevards. Later, you'll be transferred to Giurgiu, a charming city on the banks of the Danube, where you'll board your Emerald Cruises Star-Ship.

Today, we'll sail to Rousse, often referred to as 'The Little Vienna'. Explore the city's Neo-Baroque and Neo-Rococo architecture on a walking tour or choose a guided hike to the UNESCO-listed Rock-Hewn Churches of Ivanovo. In the evening, mingle with your fellow travelers during the welcome reception and dinner.

Today, we'll journey to Vidin, a city known for its winemaking tradition. Visit a local vineyard, learn about their wine production, and enjoy a tasting session. Afterwards, explore the Baba Vida Fortress, one of the best-preserved medieval castles in Bulgaria. For those seeking a more active adventure, a guided hike to the Belogradchik Fortress is available.

Sail along the Danube to Donji Milanovac, where you'll visit the Lepenski Vir archaeological site. This Palaeolithic site is one of the most significant of its kind in Europe, offering fascinating insights into prehistoric cultures and their movements across the continent.

Today, we'll explore Serbia's vibrant capital, Belgrade. A guided coach tour will take you through the city's heart, showcasing its landmarks. Visit the Church of Saint Sava, one of the largest religious buildings in Europe, and tour the Museum of Yugoslavia. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Serbian folklore show on board.
