Spend the day exploring the city at your leisure, taking in the stunning views of the snow-capped Alps and the city's many attractions. Don't miss a visit to the Grossmünster, a Romanesque-style Protestant church that is one of Zurich's most famous landmarks. Overnight in Zurich (or similar).

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to St. Gallen, stopping along the way at the Rhine Falls, Europe's largest waterfall. Feel the roar and vibration of the water as you marvel at this natural wonder. Continue to St. Gallen, a charming city known for its colourful oriel windows and traffic-free old town. Visit the Abbey precinct, a UNESCO World Heritage site, before settling in for the night. Overnight in St. Gallen (or similar).

Today, journey from St. Gallen to Davos, passing through the picturesque village of Appenzell. Known for its rural customs and traditions, Appenzell offers a glimpse into Switzerland's rich cultural heritage. Continue your drive, stopping at Heidi's Village in Maienfeld, where the story of the cheerful, nature-loving orphan girl comes to life. Arrive in Davos and settle in for the night. Overnight in Davos (or similar).

On your way to Lugano, take the opportunity to experience the Bernina Express, the most beautiful Alpine train. Marvel at the stunning scenery, including the Schyn Gorge, Morteratsch Glacier, and Brusio spiral viaduct. If you prefer a more active day, hike on Mount Muottas Muragl near Pontresina and enjoy breathtaking views of the Upper Engadine region. Continue your journey to Lugano for the night. Leave Lugano for Zermatt, stopping at Monte Brè and Ascona along the way. Ascona is known for its mild climate, charming Old Town, and lake promenade dotted with street cafés. Continue your journey to the Valais region, home to the Aletsch Glacier, the biggest glacier in the Alps. Arrive in Zermatt, a town dominated by the towering Matterhorn. Visit the UNESCO-protected castles of Bellinzona before heading back to Täsch to collect your car. Drive through the orchards and terraced vineyards of the Lavaux to Lausanne, the second-largest city on Lake Geneva. Visit the Olympic Museum before continuing your drive to Freiburg, the largest medieval town in Üechtland. Pass through the Greyerzer region, known for its rolling green landscape, before reaching Gstaad, a popular destination for international celebrities. Overnight in Gstaad (or similar).

Leave the chalet village of Gstaad and drive to Interlaken, where you can experience the majestic Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau summits. Interlaken is a world-famous resort with an idyllic setting between two lakes and surrounded by snow-capped mountain peaks and Alpine meadows. If time permits, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the old town of Berne before heading to Lucerne for the night. Overnight in Lucerne (or similar).

Spend your last day in Lucerne, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Visit the Chapel Bridge, a covered, wooden pedestrian walkway and a highlight of the Grand Tour. After exploring Lucerne, drive back to Zurich to drop off your rental car at the airport in time for your return flight home.
