After exploring the city, head to Reykjavík Harbor where MS Maud, your home for the next 17 days, awaits. Settle into your cabin, meet the Expedition Team, and enjoy a welcome dinner as we set sail for adventure.

Arrive in Ísafjörður, a picturesque town flanked by towering mountains. Spend the afternoon exploring the local architecture, shopping for handicrafts, and visiting the Westfjords Heritage Museum. For those seeking a bit of adventure, take the steep hike up to Naustahvilft, also known as the Troll's Throne, for a stunning panoramic view.

Spend the day at sea as we sail towards Jan Mayen. Take advantage of the ship's facilities, join a Citizen Science project, or simply relax and enjoy the journey. The Expedition Team will provide information on visiting wildlife habitats and indigenous Arctic communities, preparing you for the adventures ahead.

Arrive at Jan Mayen, a remote island dominated by the volcanic cone of Mount Beerenberg. If conditions allow, you'll have the rare opportunity to set foot on one of Earth's most remote places. Keep an eye out for the island's abundant birdlife and marine creatures, including whales and seals.

After our expedition in Scoresby Sund, we return to civilization with a visit to Ittoqqortoormiit, the only permanent settlement in the region. As we cruise back toward Iceland, spend the day sharing your experiences with new friends, recapping highlights with the Expedition Team, or discovering more about the ecology of Greenland's fjord system in the Science Center. We end our journey where we started, in the fabulous city of Reykjavík.
