Upon your arrival in Lisbon, embark on a morning shuttle eastward to the fortified city of Elvas, near the Spanish border. After a light lunch, the tour leaders will fit bicycles and conduct a safety briefing. Then, enjoy a short loop ride around Elvas, marveling at its impressive Roman Aqueduct and well-preserved 16th-century walls. Overnight at Vila Gale Evora (or similar).

Today's ride is a warm-up for the adventures ahead. Pedal with views into Spain before turning west towards Vila Vicosa, passing through wheat fields and olive orchards.
