We know how important hotels are on your trip. The hotels have been selected taking into consideration quality, price and location. They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

CITY HALL AND THE ROYAL WARSHIP VASA (3hrs)(65 EUR)
We will visit the interior of Stockholm City Hall. We will have the chance to visit the rooms where the plenary sessions are held, including the room where they hold the banquet and the ballroom dance after the Nobel prize ceremony. Afterwards, we will visit one of the warships which were retrieved after being 333 years dwelling at the sea bottom and which reminds us of the power the Swedish Empire once had. - Bus service.

After a hearty breakfast, we set off for Gedser, the southernmost town of Scandinavia. We then board a modern ferry for a two-hour journey across the Baltic Sea to Germany, with a recommended lunch on the ship. Upon arrival in Rostock, Germany's largest Baltic port, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the lively old town, featuring the market square, City Council, and St. Mary's Church. We continue our journey to Szczecin in Poland, arriving in the evening. Explore the historic university city on the banks of the Oder, with its charming historical center, the Castle of the Princes of Pomerania, and the river terraces.

After breakfast, we journey through the tranquil regions of western Poland, arriving in Bydgoszcz. Enjoy a leisurely walk and lunch in this historical city, renowned for its architectural beauty, parks, and canals. We then proceed to Torun, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its walled Gothic city and the birthplace of Copernicus. Take time to explore the city and optionally visit the Copernicus museum-house. We conclude the day with a drive to Warsaw, the capital of Poland, arriving in the evening.

Start the day with a guided city tour of Warsaw, a city that beautifully blends modern architecture with restored historic buildings. Wander through the charming old town, admire the historic buildings, the Royal Palace, and cobbled streets, all restored after World War II and now a world heritage site. Visit the Palace of Culture, a gift from the Soviet Union, and the largest Jewish ghetto in Europe. Stroll through Lazienkowski Park, home to the Chopin monument. Enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore the city's museums or its bustling commercial center.

After breakfast, we head north to Olsztynek, where we visit the park-museum of popular architecture (admission included). Marvel at the wooden houses, old mills, and a traditional church, feeling as if you've stepped back in time. We then proceed to the Elblag canal, the longest navigable canal in Poland, and visit the museum. Our journey continues to Malbork, where we explore its impressive castle (admission included), one of the largest medieval castles in Europe. We conclude the day with an evening arrival in Gdansk, known for its vibrant historic center.

After breakfast, we visit the European Solidarity Centre in Gdansk, a contemporary building that commemorates the history of the 'solidarity union' that marked the beginning of the fall of the Soviet Union. We then visit the Second World War Museum, which pays tribute to the millions who died in Poland during the war. After a walk in the historic center, we continue to Sopot, an elegant seaside resort with a large Baltic Sea beach. In the evening, we board a modern ferry (with cruise-like features) for our journey to Sweden. Accommodation will be in cabins with breakfast included.

We then continue to Stockholm, stopping en route in Vastervik, a charming seaside city with a beautiful historic center. Upon arrival in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, you'll have the afternoon free to explore this beautiful city, known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and a unique blend of modernity and tradition.

Today, we embark on a sightseeing tour of Stockholm, a beautiful capital city built on 14 islands. We explore the Gamla Stand or the 'City between the Bridges', the city's old quarter teeming with life and monumental buildings like the Nobel Museum. We also visit the main square of Stortorget, the Cathedral, and the Royal Palace. If possible, we'll enjoy a stunning view from the Fjällgatan viewpoint. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city's museums and parks or opt for a visit to the City Hall and the Vasa museum.

As we arrive in Finland, we recommend you to witness the sunrise from the ship's deck, offering mesmerizing views of the Aland Islands. We disembark and explore Turku, a city with a strong Swedish influence. We then proceed to the neighboring city of Naantali, known for its picturesque wooden houses by the sea. Our journey continues to Helsinki, where we arrive around lunchtime. Spend the afternoon exploring the city, its old market, Russian-influenced buildings, and churches.

Today, we journey through forests and plains to reach Parnu, a popular spa city. We then travel to Latvia, stopping at Turaida to visit the medieval castle surrounded by a large park with sculptures dedicated to Latvian Folklore. We continue to Sigulda, a charming city in a beautiful area, before heading to Riga, stopping at the 'Salaspils Memorial', a monumental complex commemorating the victims of the Nazi regime. We arrive in Riga in the evening.
